About Last Door
Last Door opened its doors to in 1984. For 35 years their recovery community of certified counsellors, support workers and volunteers have supported families in healing from the impacts of substance use.
Their programs provide licensed, accredited and evidence-based medically led addiction treatment services in a vibrant homelike setting. Specialized effective and coordinated residential recovery programs are offered for youth, emerging adults and adult men. They also offers family enhancement programs for partners, parents, grandparents and siblings. For those not sure if ‘treatment’ is right for them, clients can be provided with daily program viewings and a 10-day intro to recovery experience.
Last Door’s Metro Vancouver area facilities are located in New Westminster and Mission BC. Last Door supports individuals and families recover from drug addiction, alcohol addiction, gambling addiction, video gaming addiction, internet addiction and nicotine addiction. They also specializes in providing addiction treatment services for first nations communities. Last Door uses the Social Model approach to treat addiction, the program’s Clinical Objectives provide a well rounded recovery approach with addiction specialized services to build Recovery Capital in their clients and their families lives.
Last Door Mission
Last Door offers Social Model Programming as a strategy for recovery from addiction, we encourage clients to build Recovery Capital while in treatment.
Last Door Programs cultivate a homelike, rather than institutional atmosphere so people can recover from drug addiction, alcohol addiction, gambling addiction, food addiction, video gaming addiction, internet addiction and nicotine addiction.
