Fabretto believes in the power of education to enable children and youth of Nicaragua to break the cycle of poverty. Their holistic approach to education involves the entire community. Together, with help from parents, teachers, community leaders, and supporters like you, they are transforming the futures of children and youth in Nicaragua.

They recognize the important role and participation of all community members in children’s development. Teachers are the determining factor of a quality education. They have the power to help students living in poverty develop skills that can transform their own future, as well as the future of their society. Likewise, parents engaged in school positively impact children’s educational performance. By working with the entire community, they create nurturing environments where children can truly thrive.

Fabretto Mission

Fabretto’s mission is to empower underserved children and their families in Nicaragua to reach their full potential, improve their livelihoods, and take advantage of economic opportunity through education.

Inspired by the legacy of Padre Fabretto, the organization envisions a prosperous Nicaragua where all children and adolescents have meaningful opportunities to grow and learn, in communities that offer access to quality education, so that they may reach their full potential.

For over 60 years, They have been building relationships within Nicaraguan communities in order to provide hope and a better future to the children and youth in need. Today, the organization serves over 40,000 children and youth through work in nine Fabretto Education Centers and over 400 local public schools.
