Through several years of project work, they were able to bundle the competencies in the areas of financial services, consulting, blockchain and crypto currencies in order to develop the ShareHope platform after three years.

By using the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), also known as Blockchain, they ensure a high cost-efficiency of payments, as well as a fast payment. Due to the immutability of the blockchain the security is given at all times.

All donations are initially received in the Bitpay account of the Donate a Bit foundation. Once a month these donations are transferred to the charity organizations. Before transferring we contact these organizations to make sure that their bitcoin wallet is still available and that they have still access to it.
